Next, he will present on Nurturescience, and the Latest Evidence, persuading skeptics that nurture is science and evidence based, and needed in clinical practice. After lunch, he will speak on Nurturing in the NICU Environment, explaining the practicalities and importance of increasing the daily dose of skin-to-skin contact for all babies, especially small and sick. Then, he will continue with Should Babies Sleep Alone? And on Their Backs, differentiating between neonatal and adult sleep patterns. After, Post-Partum Care with Regard to SUPC and SIDS will provide a more nuanced discussion on sleep position. The program will conclude with The Embodiment of the Science – the Kangaroula, whose job description is providing all the nurture that is currently absent in perinatal care.
